As co-founder of the Linn Area Photo Club, his leadership made the LAPC into Iowa’s largest camera club. Several of his photographs have been published and have won several awards at the state and regional photography contests.

“What is it that I search for when I go outdoors hiking with my cameras? A time to achieve Quiet, Calmness, Peace, and Growth as a photographer. I want my photographs to show the miracle of planet Earth, from the wide-angle landscapes to the telephoto wildlife images, I hope each of my photographs tells a story.”
