Alexandra is from Keosauqua, Iowa and a UNI graduate. She spent nine years in Colorado enjoying the great outdoors, learning various creative and life skills. She and her husband Ben moved to Mount Vernon in summer 2024 with their two cats and are now renovating an 1849 house in Anamosa. She is a writer, potter, and painter heavily influenced by nature and the Art Nouveau style.
