Angie Heuton earned her BFA from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, double majoring in Drawing and Painting with a minor in Sculpture. After 30 years in a professional visual role, she now works full-time as an artist. Her current watercolor and shaped paper pieces explore the beauty of local flora and fauna, encouraging viewers to see the natural world with fresh eyes. Based in Iowa, her work has been exhibited throughout the Midwest and commissioned by private collectors.
Angie presently is the Mount Vernon Area Arts Council’s Artist-in-Residence.
