“The clay and I are both active participants in the making process. Clay’s unique inherent characteristics allow for lovely insights along the way. Its earthy suggestions can do what my exertions cannot.

So I try to work with what happens in the natural folds and rolls of the material at hand. Seeking for balance, harmony and understanding to be present in the finished piece.”
