Workshop with Bill Reed Middle School
Pictured below is the end result of a three-week workshop with students from Bill Reed Middle School in Loveland Colorado.
This intensive workshop taught the students about the photographic process to include creating a vision, operating a camera, composing pictures, printing images and presenting an exhibit. Campagna utilized materials and techniques derived from his study in Ansel Adams' archives in Yosemite National Park. |
The end result was 56 black and white images from the city of Loveland, Big Thompson Canyon, Estes Park, and Rocky Mountain National Park. All images were photographed, printed, matted and framed by the students. |
The final exhibit took place in the music room of the historic Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO. |
27 students were involved in the workshop. |
The final display took place April 30, 2006. Pictured to the left is the artist Bob Campagna and workshop director Susan McWilliams opening the exhibit with a speech to the attendees. |
