About the Artist
Bob Campagna resides in both Mt. Vernon, Iowa and Loveland, Colorado. He is a free lance photographer, writer and educator. Since 1980 he has created and taught almost 300 photography workshops for youth, adult, collegiate and community groups, in several locations throughout Iowa as well as in New Mexico, Colorado, Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, California, New York, Nicaragua, and Scotland. Since 1982 he has been on the Iowa Arts Council's roster for Artists in the Schools and Communities projects.
He publishes calendars, posters, postcards and note cards of his work, as well as selling images for fine art. He is represented by Sage Moon Originals (www.sagemoonoriginals.com), 116 East 4th St, Loveland, CO 80537.
He uses small (35mm), medium (120), and large (4x5) format and digital cameras. He was a co-founder of Mount Vernon's ARTworks Gallery and the Mount Vernon Area Arts Council. In December, 2002 he presented the talk “Through the eyes of Ansel Adams” at the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art to interpret Adams' “Classic Images” exhibit at the museum.
He works on a wide assortment of projects and publications.
